Welcome to the Team! We Welcome Retail Solutions Expert, Phil Chapman

We’ve always said that our people are our greatest asset and we’re thrilled to now welcome retail solutions expert, Phil Chapman, as our new Business Development Manager. In his new role, Phil will be working with our sales team to explore opportunities, focusing on our latest software offering, OMIO PIM.

Phil explained: “My career has always been in retail technology/solutions. In the past, I’ve run my own consultancy business as well as working at a number of providers over the years, building relationships with numerous high street and international retail brands. In my previous role, I worked at Itim as Sales and Marketing Director and, after five and a half years there, I was ready for the next challenge.

“I’m delighted to be joining Retail Assist: I’ve known their company for many years and watched them grow with interest. It’s fantastic to be part of the team and I look forward to our future together.”

Kieran Bowden, our Chief Commercial Officer, added: “I am delighted to welcome Phil, who has a fantastic track record of building new relationships and attracting new clients.

“Phil brings with him a deep understanding of the retail sector and those that know him respect – and seek – his opinion, and always make time for him. Phil has a gift of being able to contextualise services and solutions against a client’s broader ecosystem of suppliers. As retailers focus on consolidating their supplier base to seek savings and efficiencies, Retail Assist are well placed to help new customers deliver on those objectives. He has already made an impressive start and I look forward to our continued work together.”

We were recently named as a finalist for Best MSP 2020 at the SDI IT Service & Support Awards, with the winners being announced at the awards ceremony in 2021, as national recognition for the quality of the customer experience that we provide. OMIO PIM is our latest software offering; launched in May, OMIO PIM is a SaaS solution that helps retailers control product information and its release to market via a centralised system, helping retailers to provide a consistent customer experience and to expand their digital presence at a time when it’s needed most.
