At Retail Assist, we stand out from the many IT companies in the UK for our ability to look forward. Whether that’s helping our customers evolve their IT strategy to meet the consumer needs of tomorrow or proactively stopping issues before they’ve even happened, we don’t believe in ruminating over past achievements: we’re always moving forward to the next goal.
That being said, we’re also very proud of our rich, retail history. The retail sector has certainly changed a lot since we began working within it in 1999. IT companies in the UK have had to adapt to these changes, but our heritage means that whatever situations and challenges the retail sector might experience, we’re best placed to meet them.
And it’s not just the retail sector that’s changed. Over the years, we’ve also enjoyed branching out into other areas, such as hospitality, logistics and councils, bringing our wealth of IT know-how to new areas and companies not only in the UK but worldwide.
We’ve also grown our services and solutions offering, with IT Help Desk support being delivered in 8 different languages. Our team has grown from a handful of staff members to just under 140. With a Head Office in Nottingham and Data Centre in Northampton, our team support you from on-site and remote locations.
So, you could say it’s been a busy few decades – and we can’t wait for what the future will bring.
Taking the next step in our successful 15-year long partnership, we joined forces with Barron McCann. Bringing together best-of-breed services and solutions, we’re a powerhouse for technology in the retail and hospitality sectors.
Having supported Whistles since 2010, we were well positioned to roll out their 1st Line Help Desk service support model to two more TFG Brands (London) Ltd retailers.
We invited our clients, colleagues and partners to come together to collaborate, discuss and debate with leaders shaping the future of customer experience in the retail and hospitality sectors.
We also extended support from existing first-line Help Desk services, to carry out a full store opening for global cosmetics leader, Morphe, and supported our customers to re-open their stores after the pandemic.
We also began delivering tech support to Laser Clinics UK and renewed contracts with our long-standing customer Jigsaw.
It also included contract renewals with long-standing customers Harvey Nichols and Hobbycraft.
We gained investment from the Foresight Group and a new board of directors was appointed. We also started providing operational support to Jigsaw.
We began working with Pizza Hut Restaurants. We also began supporting Morrisons Nutmeg with Merret.
We began working with Mint Velvet to provide full IT support and infrastructure. We also took on our first hospitality client, Vue Cinemas.
