Established in 1976, PO.P is owned by RNB Retail and Brands (RnB), Sweden’s 10th largest retailer. Their mission is to provide children’s clothing that’s built to last, promising that each garment is made to last “at least 3 children”!
PO.P’s entry into the UK market follows earlier success in Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Estonia and Latvia. Odin Retail run the UK-exclusive franchise, including 3 stores, their website and concessions in John Lewis and Fenwick.
When PO.P launched their range to the UK and Eire childrenswear markets, they chose concessions within House of Fraser stores as their route to market. Branching out into a new market with a new partner, they needed IT support to enable the franchise to operate within the UK.
We deliver a number of IT services and solutions to Odin Retail, including designing and building a number of data interfaces between the Swedish parent, Odin Retail, and House of Fraser. These are based upon Retail Assist’s proven Linux polling solution which allows data to be converted and easily pulled into another retailer’s system.
With Odin Retail running a small head office team, we handle their IT department, allowing them to focus on running their business.
