Supermarket retailer Morrisons launched their clothing brand, Nutmeg, originally as an affordable quality childrenswear line. A few years later, it added womenswear and menswear to its range and within just 3 years, the popularity of the collection made Morrisons one of the top 20 fashion retailers in the UK in 2016. The Nutmeg babywear and children’s range is currently available in all 494 Morrisons stores, with the label’s womenswear collection present in around half.
Morrisons selected Retail Assist’s omnichannel supply chain solution, Merret, to support Nutmeg’s launch right from day one. The range initially launched in 100 Morrisons stores in 2013 and is also supported by a range of our managed IT services, including our Technical Services team and our Data Centre operations.
In February 2020, they successfully launched Nutmeg online which integrated with Merret to manage order fulfillment.
