Business Development Manager

We’re an award-winning retail technology company who provide IT support to high-end retailers and hospitality operators including Ted Baker, Pizza Hut, Vue Cinemas and many more!

What you’ll be doing

This role is a real mix of new business and account development, with you having the ability to seek out and work with new clients as well as growing the services to our existing client base.

Starting at the beginning of the sales cycle, you’ll identify and investigate prospects and opportunities. Working with our internal commercial teams, you’ll follow up on leads and deliver innovative and well-thought-out proposals and presentations. You will also research new markets, growth areas and ways of reaching existing markets.

What we’re looking for…

If you’re great at building and maintaining relationships, ideally with a developed knowledge of how technology underpins the retail and hospitality sectors, then we’d love to hear from you.

• Experience in responding to formal requests for proposals and coordinating other organisational teams to complete compelling responses
• Proven sales performance in IT managed services and solutions
• Ability to evaluate perceived problems and discuss possible solutions in a collaborative way
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a high degree of flexibility
• Inquisitive and open-minded with good listening skills
• Self-motivated whilst managing and prioritising and tasks and time efficiently, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach
• A passion for customer success
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
